Wedding Checklist

June is not only the month of father; it is also a very popular month for weddings. If you are on the planning stage of your wedding, having a checklist of the things you must have/do for the big day is extremely essential. An ideal preparation of wedding is 6 to 12 months. This is to give you an ample time to prepare and secure the details of your wedding plans and to avoid unnecessary expenses.

The month of June is about to end but it doesn’t mean that you’re running out of time. While many people believe that June is a great month to have your wedding, you must remember that the success of your wedding still lies on both of you and not on the month.

Here is basic wedding checklist that can help you can use in your wedding planning.

1. Date & Time of Your Wedding – this should goes along with the availability of the church, wedding officiant and venue of the reception.
2. The Entourage. This is about listing your bridesmaids, groomsmen and ushers and your principal sponsors
3. Mood of the Wedding Place. Decide the color (motif), theme as well as style and look of your venue.
4. Announcement and Invitations. Make sure that your invitations are sent to your guests, one or two months ahead so they could have more time to prepare.
5. Decorations. Research on the type of flowers you want to use in the church or venue
6. Music. List down the music and look for the perfect musician to sing in your wedding day. Decide what song should be played during wedding dance or while the guests is eating, etc.
7. Food. This is very important. Make sure to taste the food that will be served on your wedding day.
8. Wedding Car. If you’ll be renting, make sure that you book in advance.
9. Prepare and buy the rings.
10. Set an appointment with Videographers and Camera Men.

This is just a basic checklist. There are still lots of details that underlie in each of this checklist. However, this can be a great start!
