3 Simple Yet Hard To Do Money Saving Tips

At times of crisis, people tend to be flexible with their budget. Everyone wants to save for tomorrow. There are many ways to save money but if you’re having a hard time doing it, it’s time to think and formulate your own.

Many sites already talked about how to effectively save money. While lessening your expenses is the most effective method to do it, it’s still best that you know the simple and small ways to save money at the same time applicable to your lifestyle. Here are additional simple money saving tips that you can do at these time of global financial crisis.

1. Limit your movie watching. If you have a big family, you’ll surely be spending a lot just to see a movie together. You may do it once in a while but if you want to save money it’s still best to rent some DVDs that you haven’t watched before and watch all together at your home.

Savings: 1. Movie ticket fee (2) gas (3) food costs (4) time

2. Prepare two dishes per meal at most. If you’re thinking about the food pyramid, then you have to be sure of what you are preparing. Make sure that your cooking is not just delectable but also nutritious dishes. You may also add seasonal fruits on the table.

Savings: (1) gas or electricity for cooking (2) time for preparing plenty of dishes (3) money of course.

3. Be contented for now. This is definitely the hardest part. So when you want to buy a new pair of shoes, a new coat or a new cellphone, think about tomorrow. When everything can’t be used, you have saved money that you can use at anytime.

We have to maximize our resources to save money. What we can’t have now won’t kill us. Remember that not all money saving tips are applicable to us. Sometimes, we have to make our own formula and motivate ourselves to be successful.
